This blog will have my paintings which are available for sale. It will include something about the painting, the size and price with frame. All paintings can be sold without a frame. I paint mostly on linen canvas boards. Click on the pictures for a larger view.

CHARMAINE ANDERSON>>>>MY ART
I started oil painting about 2005 with the encouragement of my very talented artist friend Viki Whitmer. I was lucky enough to find just the right teacher for me, Susan Ashurst, who worked with me for about 6 months. I would love to find a gallery for the stacks of wonderful paintings she has in her studio.
I see life with the eyes of an artist now, which has improved the beauty of everything I see. I love oils with their forgiving nature and spectacular variety of strong colors. I hope I still have 20 years to improve. I try to paint most days, if not in my studio then in my head.
You can e-mail me at charmandy@comcast.net

Years ago an artist friend said her instructer advised her to paint a lot and sell cheap until she was famous. So, that is what I plan to do.
